What we are, and what we aren't
Disclaimer
No shortcuts. No guarantees. Just the game plan. Here is exactly what that means.
We are not affiliated
ExceedVarsity is an independent site. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the NCAA, the NAIA, the NJCAA, or any college or university. Those names belong to their owners. We use them only to identify the organizations whose rules we describe.
No guarantees
- No guaranteed scholarships or roster spots.
- No guarantee that any coach will contact an athlete.
- Reading our guides or buying our kit does not promise an offer, admission, eligibility, playing time or a scholarship of any kind.
We are not an agent or a paid recruiting service
We don't market athletes to colleges. We don't contact coaches on your behalf. We don't charge fees tied to offers or placement. We never sell athlete information to colleges. We are a recruiting education resource.
General information, not legal advice
Everything on this site is general information. It is not legal advice, not financial or tax advice, and not advice about your individual situation. Recruiting rules are set by the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA and colleges, and they change. We show a "rules last updated" date and the official sources we checked. Always confirm with the official source or the college's compliance office before you act.
Examples are made up
Sample emails, scenarios and examples are illustrations. They're not real athletes, schools or coaches.
Privacy of minors
We respect minors' privacy. Parents sign up and pay, and we keep player data to a minimum. We don't sell athlete information, and we don't share it with colleges. See Privacy.
Pricing
Our pricing is transparent: the guides are free, and the kit is a one-time purchase with the price and refund terms shown up front. See free vs. paid and Terms.
